SDC’s Kobciye project Market linkage farm produce marketing.

Exciting news to share about the Kobciye project! We are thrilled to announce that our success story was recently aired on the radio. This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support we received from #EU, #WFP, and #Puntland MOAI. Their generosity has played a vital role in enhancing the resilience of our food systems.

Through the Kobciye project, we have witnessed remarkable outcomes that have made a positive impact on our communities. One of the major achievements has been fostering community empowerment. By supporting local farmers and encouraging the production of fresh vegetables, we have empowered families in the Garowe village to take charge of their own food security.

In line with this, we are thrilled to notify all families living in Garowe village that they can now purchase fresh vegetables directly from the local farms under the Kobciye project. These vegetables are of high quality and are available at affordable prices. This initiative aims to support local farmers and provide them with a market for their produce.

We are proud to say that Kobciye is truly making a difference in our community. It is heartening to see the positive behavioral change that has taken place as a result of this project. By promoting the consumption of fresh, locally produced vegetables, we are encouraging healthier eating habits and contributing to the overall well-being of our community members.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to #EU, #WFP, and #Puntland MOAI for their unwavering support. Their contributions have been instrumental in the success of the Kobciye project. Together, we are building resilient communities and ensuring food security for all.
